Appointment Terms and Conditions

Estimate Acceptance / Appointment Scheduling Waiver

By confirming a service appointment with Pro Hood Cleaning Service, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions:

Scope of Services: The client understands and agrees that Pro Hood Cleaning Service will perform cleaning services on the commercial hood system located at the client’s premises as outlined in the service agreement.

Assumption of Risk: The client acknowledges that the cleaning services provided by Pro Hood Cleaning Service involve inherent risks, including but not limited to the use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and working at heights. The client voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the cleaning services and releases Pro Hood Cleaning Service from any liability for personal injury, property damage, or any other loss that may occur during or as a result of the cleaning services.

Client’s Responsibility: The client agrees to:

  1. Provide clear access to the commercial hood system and ensure that the premises are safe for Pro Hood Cleaning Service technicians to perform the cleaning services.
  2. Inform Pro Hood Cleaning Service of any hazards, safety concerns, or special instructions related to the premises.
  3. Take appropriate measures to secure valuable or sensitive items in the vicinity of the commercial hood system before the cleaning services commence.

LIABILITY RELEASE: THE CLIENT RELEASES, INDEMNIFIES, AND HOLDS HARMLESS PRO HOOD CLEANING SERVICE, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DAMAGES, LIABILITIES, LOSSES, OR EXPENSES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE CLEANING SERVICES PROVIDED BY PRO HOOD CLEANING SERVICE EXCEPT FOR DAMAGES CAUSED BY PRO HOOD CLEANING SERVICE’S GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT.

Insurance Coverage: The client acknowledges that Pro Hood Cleaning Service maintains general liability insurance coverage, but it is not a substitute for the client’s own insurance coverage. The client is encouraged to maintain adequate insurance coverage for their property and operations.

Cancellation Policy: The client understands and agrees to Pro Hood Cleaning Service’s cancellation policy, including any applicable fees or charges for cancellations made within a specified timeframe.

NFPA 96 Compliance Acknowledgement:

The client acknowledges that the current condition of their commercial hood system may not be compliant with the guidelines outlined in NFPA 96 (National Fire Protection Association Standard for Ventilation Control and Fire Protection of Commercial Cooking Operations).

The client further acknowledges that it is their responsibility to ensure that the commercial hood system complies with NFPA 96 guidelines and any other applicable regulations.

The client agrees to contact Pro Hood Cleaning Service’s staff to obtain clarification on any compliance issues related to the commercial hood system.

System Inspection Option:

Pro Hood Cleaning Service offers a comprehensive “system inspection” service for $499. This service includes a thorough inspection of the commercial hood system to determine compliance with NFPA 96 guidelines and other applicable regulations.

The client understands that the system inspection is optional and agrees to contact Pro Hood Cleaning Service to schedule the inspection if they wish to obtain further information regarding the compliance status of their system.

By confirming a service appointment with Pro Hood Cleaning Service, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Service Appointment Confirmation and Liability Waiver.
